My Date with Tom Brady

Having a two year old means that date nights only come so often...
Grandma Ann beautifully played both matchmaker (by giving Paul the tickets for his birthday!), and babysitter for opening night at Gillette Stadium.

And what an awesome date night it was...
There was an interception by Vince Wilfork, a two-point conversion, and my wonderful husband bought me hot chocolate.

Oh, and the Patriots won!
Go Pats!

Window Shopping

Before Z's birthday party really got started, Auntie Ginnie, affectionately known to Zachary as Giddee, spent a long time holding Z and looking out the window. They were looking at trees, and puppies, and all things that 2-year-old little boys love. Hope Giddee had as much fun as ZahZah did! (Yes, that's what Z affectionately calls himself...)

It's our Blog-a-versary!

Today marks 2 years we've been happily snuggled in at PBandZ!

What a journey we've been on--here's to many more blog-a-versary celebrations.

Thanks to everyone who has come along for the ride!

oh, for the love of presents..

Z has such a loving generous family, and that is certainly reflected in all of the wonderful gifts he received. I hope his family sees the joy reflected in his face as he opens the presents! With all the birthday parties he has been having lately, Z is pretty well convinced he should get a gift every day. This will probably be a hard notion to break!

From Dirt to Cake, and Back Again (or, a little dirt won't hurt...)

For this birthday boy, cake was just a short break from digging in the dirt! But you know what, it's Z's Party, and as far as this momma is concerned, he can dig in the dirt if he wants to!

Celebrate Good Times

Grandma Ann picked a wonderful day to have an outdoor birthday party for Z. We were able to throw on a sweatshirt, feel the warm sunshine, and enjoy the beautiful deck at her house. Z is pretty well against the tradition of lighting candles on the cake, not to mention the attention of everyone singing happy birthday. But he got on board for blowing out the candles, and he was all over eating the ice cream cake! Grandma Ann even snuck in a decadent chocolate cake to celebrate Daddy's birthday!

Thanks to Grandma Ann and Linwood for hosting such a great second birthday party for my little boy, and thank you to all of the George family who came to help us celebrate! It wouldn't have been as awesome a party without all of you.

Happy Birthday Boys!!

it takes two...

When you're really hungry, it is Z's opinion that you shouldn't limit yourself to shoveling the food in with just one hand. Ambidexterity is apparently one of his many talents right now.

Color Me Happy

I'm going to have to get another notebook of Color Wonder paper. Or forget teaching Zachary to color between the lines, we need to teach him to color on the paper, and not the kitchen table...
