You totally have Daddy wrapped around your finger Zachary. He'd push you around in your little cart all day, just to keep you entertained. Just keep running up to him when he comes home from work, with your arms open wide, yelling, "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!" You'll keep getting what you want.

dayAfter Party
We are all so happy to have the Hasenfratz Family back in the states! I think Jayden and Zachary are going to be best buddies, they just both need a little more practice playing with other kids! But as close as they are going to be living to each other, I think we'll be able to get plenty of practice in. As for the beautiful Cassidy Quinn, she is going to have no shortage of volunteers to cuddle her and keep her entertained!

Nice while it lasted.
If there is one word to describe Zachary right now, (besides the obvious: brilliant, adorable and amazing) I'd call him fickle. This was taken to an entirely different level when I tried to figure out what he wanted for dinner last night. I was scouring the contents of the fridge, listing off items that might catch his attention. I asked if he wanted noodles, chicken, carrots, cheese, and all I got was a resounding, "NO."
I kept going to some of the odder items in the fridge, "How about a pickle Zachary?"
He surprised me by saying, "Otay Momma. Zaza want FICKLE!" Not surprisingly, by the time I got the jar out of the fridge, and was handing him the pickle, he says, "No, no fickle Momma."
I ended up cutting a smiley face into a piece of lunch meat. He refused it without eyes and ears, but gobbled it up happily when it smiled back at him.

Party never stops.
Judging by the state of things at the end of the evening, I would have to call Thanksgiving a success. Big smiles, plenty of empty beer bottles and sippy cups, fun party games, and by the end some of the attendees were already in their jammies. That's a happy Thanksgiving!

Eye of the Storm
The raucousness that started off the party had to lull a little eventually. No doubt a short lull, before getting back into full swing again. Malerie looks to have a very bright, and if I have anything to say about it, busy future as a babysitter. Zachary and Corey, and even Auntie Christine, were quite happy to listen to her reading.

Pumpkin Pie Spice (and everything nice!)
These pictures captured the general festive mood of the party in the basement on Thanksgiving. It's always so much fun when the family gets together.
Earning the Turkey
I love seeing Zachary running around, rough housing, and really having a good time with all his little cousins. They all seemed to be having a blast playing with each other, and they definitely worked up an appetite for dinner.

Boys in the Kitchenette
Upstairs, Linwood and Grandma Ann were busy cooking (and putting out fires!) But downstairs, Auntie CriCri was busy supervising Jayden and Zachary in the Kitchenette. A Thanksgiving Feast will be had one way or another!

Big Daddy Paul
Yes, Zachary has taken to calling his daddy, Big Daddy Paul, and I'm Momma Mommy Becca. He still calls himself Zaza, but if you ask him his name, he'll say Zassery! Can't wait to enjoy 2012 with both of my boys!
