Congratulations to Auntie Christine and Uncle JonJon! Hope you are as happy and comfortable in your marriage as you look here, reading stories to Z in your jammies! WE LOVE YOU!!!

You mean Jonathan and Christine are getting married today, and I get to keep JonJon as my uncle?? Hooray!

There's something brewing....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are actually a couple things brewing! First up, Christine and Jonathan got Paul a home beer brew kit for his birthday. They came down for a weekend, and by the end there was a big bucket of Nut Brown Ale bubbling away in the basement. Stay tuned for bottling and results! (and thanks to the magic of the internet, and my inability to keep up with events in real time, this will be much sooner than the 6-8 weeks we had to wait!) 

The other thing brewing is the big day! The countdown is nearly at 0, and today is the rehearsal. If they apply the same careful diligence and teamwork to wedding planning as they did to beer brewing, we are in for a spectacular day. Can't wait to crack open a bottle (sparkling juice for me!) and celebrate Christine and Jonathan's wedding!

I tried desperately to get this on video..but unfortunately failed. Poppa would have conversations between himself and T-Rex, and Zachary would laugh hysterically. Sometimes Z would join the conversation, but mostly he just listened to ventriloquist Poppa!

I don't think I'm raising the next Pele (he seems to have inherited my coordination!), but we have a good time kicking the soccer balls around the yard. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can get out more.
