As if they weren't cute enough already--Z's seaschool class dressed up in costume on Halloween, and were given a special treat--an up close encounter with a Beluga whale! Seaschool is fun, but when you get to stand next to a beluga during a training session, it makes for an even cooler day. The training and feeding sessions are fun to watch anyway. The belugas paint and spin on command, they make noises and play fetch, it's pretty awesome. Maybe we should start feeding and training sessions for my kids..

costume party
So 2 ladybugs, a dragon and darth vader walk around the block...and come bag with load of candy! Elara even walked up to houses and picked pieces of candy out of the proffered bowls. Then she would reach into her bag and offer a piece back to the neighbor! Hope your Halloween was as successful as these cuties! (We still have Halloween candy we haven't gotten through yet!) (Would Z notice if his stocking had Halloween themed candy? No buddy, those aren't ghost peeps, they're just snowmen that got a little melty!)

orange you glad you got a new stripe?
Yay Zachary! Z got promoted to an orange stripe in his karate class. He is doing outstanding in class. His performance has steadily improved--the difference from karate day one to now is unbelievable. He happily gets in line, follows directions from his (awesome!) Sensei, and fully participates from his class. When we first started, it was a struggle to get him to do anything by himself, now he's out there punching, kicking, bowing and having a good time. Way to go Z--keep up the great work!

Art Show
Oh, Sea School. You have been good to us so far this year. The new artwork I have hanging in my house is worth the price of admission. But if he keeps it up, my whole house is going to be wallpapered by Zachary. I should really consider auctioning some of these pieces off. I bet there would be interested grandpatrons..I mean grandparents. :)

Tag Team
My favorite time of the day is when Daddy comes home! I think the kids are just as tired of hanging out with me, as I am of them. They're adorable and wonderful and exhausting. Plus the littlest one has bit of a temper. (understatement!!) So it's always nice when Daddy comes home and helps distract and play with the kids before bed. This way the kids have someone fresh to wear out. :)
