Starting with the very first round of gymnastics, on the last day, I bring my good camera, and catch Elara in action. I love seeing her progress. She can now walk on the lower balance beam all by herself, and starts her forward roll from a standing position. Can't wait for the fall, to start up another round of class!

the baby wanted ice cream.
I'm up for any excuse to go and get ice cream. Pregnancy only increases the likelihood that I'll jump on the opportunity. Elara actually strayed from her favorite (doonilla) and had a blueberry ice cream. Zachary didn't stray at all, he had chocolate ice cream with hot fudge. Thanks Grandma Ann for treating us to Buttonwood!

More than a Sprinkling of Fun
To be honest, when the littles asked to play in the sprinkler the day these pictures were taken--I was ready to say no. It wasn't very warm out, and the thought of dragging my very pregnant body around the house to gather up their swim clothes and undress, dress, undress and redress them wasn't a pleasant one. Thank goodness for Big Daddy Paul--he took care of everything, and made sure that they were having fun, and suitably worn out before nap time! They didn't care one bit that it wasn't 100 degrees outside, they ran around in the sprinkler, and BDP sprayed them with the hose while they ran away, shrieking happily. I was able to step outside, snap a couple pictures, and resume my position on the couch with my feet propped up. Thanks for being such an awesome Daddy and Hubby! We are lucky to have you.

more bubbles. because, BUBBLES!
Yes, back to back bubble posts. Sorry. But I can't guarantee there won't be more bubble posts this summer, because it is such a great way to keep the kids happy and busy. It's even better now that they can blow the bubbles themselves--no more light headed, out of breath mommas. Except for when they want me to blow up balloons. And pool rafts. And spiderman swords and hammers--yes, we apparently own blow up spiderman swords and hammers. And they don't hold air very well. I think those may have to be hokey pokeyed. But back to the bubbles, which don't leave me passed out on the floor gasping for breath. I think I need to plan a little bubble party with some of our friends. We'll fill up the water table with bubble solution, and let them have at it. I'll just continue to soak up the sunshine, and the smiles from my happy littles.
