Thank goodness there are pictures of this, because words just wouldn't do this kind of bedhead justice. I'm not sure how he managed to give half his head an up-swoop, or how his afternoon nap tamed it down, but I'm glad it did...

Good Morning Baby Z

Dear Zachary,

I love when you first wake up, and I can hear you quietly talking to yourself. I love when I come in and you catch sight of me, and your whole face lights up with a smile. I love when you reach your arms out towards me to pick you up. I love when you're still a little sleepy, and your legs stay curled up like they did when you were a tiny little baby.

I love when you wake up baby Z, because it means that I get to spend another day having fun and playing with you.

and now for something brand new...

When I put Z down on his TummyTime Quilt yesterday...he stayed up on all fours! Then he rocked back and forth on his hands and knees, before tumbling face forward, looking over at me, and grinning madly. Yay Zachary!

Picture Perfect

Over Mother's Day weekend Grandma Ann, Auntie Christine, and Daddy all went to the mall with me and Z. I had Z facing out in the Moby, and we were walking over to the escalator, when a gentleman stopped me, and said, "You have the picture perfect baby." I couldn't agree more!! Thanks to Uncle Ben for taking these perfect pictures of my picture perfect baby!

Watermelon in the Sun

We always have fun at Grandma and Grandpa's, especially when it's nice outside, and we can sit out on the deck and enjoy a good meal and some warm sunshine. This visit, Z had his first taste of Watermelon!
