Happy Birthday Elara! We are so lucky to have you in our lives. You have filled up these last two years with smiles, tears, giggles, sleepless nights, and lots of cuddles. You love to sing, watch mickey mouse clubhouse, and go for walks. You hate sleep with a beautiful, fiery passion. You do NOT like to be left out of anything. If Zachary is going to karate, you want to "come toooo." If I'm eating a salad for lunch, guess who else is eating a salad? You are so full of life, and personality. There is very rarely a quiet or dull moment with you here.
This song by The Wanted always makes me think of you.
"Glad You Came"
The sun goes down
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came
You cast a spell on me, spell on me
You hit me like the sky fell on me, fell on me
And I decided you look well on me, well on me
So let's go somewhere no one else can see, you and me
Turn the lights out now
Now I'll take you by the hand
Hand you another drink
Drink it if you can
Can you spend a little time,
Time is slipping away,
Away from us so stay,
Stay with me I can make,
Make you glad you came
The sun goes down
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came
I'm glad you came
You cast a spell on me, spell on me
You hit me like the sky fell on me, fell on me
And I decided you look well on me, well on me
So let's go somewhere no one else can see, you and me
Turn the lights out now
Now I'll take you by the hand
Hand you another drink
Drink it if you can
Can you spend a little time,
Time is slipping away,
Away from us so stay,
Stay with me I can make,
Make you glad you came
The sun goes down
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came
I'm glad you came
I'm glad you came
So glad you came
I'm glad you came
I'm glad you came
The sun goes down
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came
I'm glad you came
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came

I'm glad you came
I'm glad you came
I've said before, when Zachary was born he taught me how to be a Momma, and then Elara came along and taught me how to be a better Momma. You took our world by storm little girl, and really, it will never be the same. You are a beautiful daughter, a wonderful little sister, and I can't wait to see what age 2 has in store for you. We love you Elara AKA E, Sister, Elara Lou, Princess, Eebee Bebe, Elaraboo, and Lara (amongst other nicknames!) Happy, Happy Birthday Elara Lily.
