Variation on a Theme

There are a multitude of Catherines (or in this case, Kathryn!) in Z's life, and still Z comes up with a suitable nickname/pronunciation for each of them. My sister Catherine is Auntie Kitty, Paul's Aunt Kathryn is Kaffra, and our wonderful friend Kathy Levetzow is Mrs. Kathy (Mih-mih Kaffee). 

Kaffra/Aunt Kathryn and Uncle Bob made dinner for us, and even though Z basically ignored the fantastic steak for his yogurt melts, they still spent most of the day playing with him. Z was even helpful enough to go around their house, popping the plastic caps off of the door stops for them. He would then deliver them to Uncle Bob and tell him that it was broken! Kaffra would have to help "fix" them. They tolerated innumerable games of "Are you?" (aka hide and seek) and let him take over her big screen TV for Elmo in Grouchland and Finding Nemo.

We'll have to plan another trip down to see you both soon! Thanks for having us, and our little monster-I mean-two year old down!
