The kids and I decided an adventure was in order one Saturday this past month. Big Daddy Paul needed to work on his homework, and we needed to get out of the house for awhile. So we visited the aquarium and then walked around Older Mystic Village. First stop, grilled cheese at the Blue Squid, and then ice cream at Ten Clams. This was the very first time I have handed an ice cream cone over to Elara and let her hold and eat it herself. I felt like a very brave Momma! It was sticky of course, but luckily not disastrous.
