Once we got closer to Christmas, we let Zachary nibble on his gingerbread house and tree. He tried taking a couple big bites, but spent most of his time deftly picking off the candy and eating it. Paul had already divested my house of most of the chocolate--but Z was happy to clean up the leftover marshmallows and red laces! Elara just kept nomming on her favorite toys, we've started her on cereal--but frosting is a few months away still!
