sometimes it's about me

not often...but sometimes!

so glad my rings fit again...and also, a pair of my non-maternity jeans! I haven't loss all the baby weight, but it's coming off slowly..and the more of these non-scale victories I see, the more motivation I have to keep at it. Hopefully my pants still fit after Christmas!

Go me!

oh the weather outside is frightful...

We are supposed to get up to 2 feet of snow....but you won't see me doing this anytime soon. (sorry Paul!)

Not that I could go anywhere after I shoveled, even if I wanted to.

My table on the deck is slowly disappearing. Actually the whole deck is being swallowed up by snow drifts.

But no worries, Z and I are staying nice and cozy!

11 weeks!!

I can't believe my baby is almost 3 months old!!!

Center of Attention (making up for missed blog posts)

Z was the life of the Party at Thanksgiving. He was held and cuddled by everyone, and he even took a nap with Auntie Millie. I just love so much sharing him with everyone, and in turn they all love him so much.

He had fun with Mrs. Whipple, smiling and flirting shamelessly. He was wearing his My First Thanksgiving bib (thanks Kate!) and Uncle Billie said we should get Mrs. Whipple a My 92nd Thanksgiving bib. (Sorry if I missed a year or two there Mrs. Whipple!)

It was Michael's first time holding a baby, and he did a great job!

and of course, the party wouldn't have been complete, if Z hadn't shared a moment with Uncle Herbie.

the Cuddlebear is keeping me busy

Z and I have had the most wonderful 24 hours...following a not so hot 24 hours because of his shots, a happy bubs was very welcome. Last night I slept for 5 hours - in a row! Then today we went shopping, I had some returns to make, and just needed some around the house stuff, and Z happily accompanied me. I even found time to take a shower this morning. =)

Rub a Dub Dub

Catherine and Jill helped me give Z a bath on Sunday. For the first time, he really seemed to enjoy it. There was no screaming, and we saw actual smiles throughout. It wasn't until after we were all done, and I went to put his diaper back on that he got upset.

By the way girls, it really does go: Rub a dub dub, three men in a tub.
Despite everyone laughing at me for saying that (I even laughed at myself, it's pretty ridiculous!).

Rub-A-Dub-Dub

Rub-a-dub-dub

Three men in a tub,

And who do you think they be?

The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick maker,
They all jumped out of a rotten potato!

Turn 'em out knaves all three.

by the way...rotten potato? really?
