Property of Grandma

Z was looking good in his new outfit, so we thought we'd go take some pictures of him and his Nonna. Unfortunately he was too distracted by the feel of the grass under his feet to even glance up at the camera; I have a whole series of pictures of him looking down!

breakFAST.

because slow doesn't work for the hungry little boy.

Z's breakfasts are getting more and more interesting.Yesterday I chopped up a pineapple nice and tiny, and mixed it up with some oatmeal. He worked his jaw on those little pieces of pineapple, chomping and smiling.

You've seen Breakfast on the Lanai, now it's time for Breafkast on the Solarium:

Don't go to work...

stay home and play with me Nonna and Poppa! Any of his grandparents will tell you, the hardest part about having Z come to visit, is leaving for work every morning. And since it was Poppa's birthday on Friday, Nonna and Poppa stayed home to hang out with me and Z!

We started the day right with breakfast at the home of the magic mountain, Ross' Restaurant. I have to admit that while pregnant with Z, I indulged in the breakfast magic mountain. Toast, hashbrowns, egg, gravy AND cheese sauce..and who knows what else, all in a big delicious pile. Believe me, it tasted wonderful while I ate it...not going to think about how I felt afterward... Now I'm likely to have an omelette or pancakes, and Z gets to have a little bit of hashbrowns!

Then we had shopping to do, to get ready for Poppa's birthday/draft party! Z was a great little shopper. Especially since they were giving out samples of peaches!

Happy birthday/birthweekend Poppa! We had fun sharing the day with you!

Z's family knows how to have fun at a party!

but both the guests of honor needed a snooze before the party started!

What a great time we all had at Auntie Millie's after Jayden and Z's baptism!

Leavin' on a jet plane.

Z and I are on our way to Iowa, can't wait to see everyone!

Pictures courtesy of our trip to Seekonk last week!

it's in the genes (and the jeans!)

The men in my life certainly know how to make a pair of blue jeans look good! These were actually Z's second pair of blue jeans for the day. The first pair wouldn't go up over his thighs. There were 5 of us trying to dress him before the party, and those jeans were NOT going on. Thankfully we had another pair to try, and they probably won't fit him in another week, but they looked great for the party! Everyone loved him in his little Levis and Moccasins!

mmm.....donuts

I didn't eat all the donuts, I swea--what? you have proof?

FauxHawk Twins

After the baptism (and confirmation!) we attempted to clean Z up a little bit. Don't worry Auntie Christine, we wiped the oil on his baptismal bib first. Not surprisingly, the oil in his hair didn't really wash out. Instead, we ended up styling Z to look like his Godfather.

Z is related to some good looking people!
