Congratulations, Grandma Ann, Esquire!

Thanks for coming to visit us before your trip to DC, Grandma Ann.

We had a blast, and we are so proud of you for being sworn in at the Supreme Court!

See you soon! (get your bathing suit ready for the next visit!)

baby bird and grandma ann

Feed me FASTER Grandma Ann!

Z was hungry tonight. He ate his cereal with prunes in no time at all. I had to mix up another batch of cereal, this time with peas!

Peas Please!

Okay, maybe not quite please.

He knows he likes food, but he's really not so sure about peas.

Peas make him furrow his brow, and look at me with eyes that say, "What is this??" or maybe, "Momma, help me!"

But as we know, he likes food, so he keeps opening his mouth every time the spoon gets close.

Z, I promise, it only gets better from here!

I have hair, I swear!

Mame!

Looks like Mame is carrying on the tradition she started with all her nieces and nephews...Spoiling Z rotten!

P.S. Thanks for keeping him entertained long enough for me to enjoy Maria's chicken fajitas last night. Yum!

Z versus MEGASAUCER

Z is definitely the winner in the battle against the jumper known as Megasaucer. Not only does he have far more fun than Megasaucer, but he beats the poor thing up while he's at it. He pounds on the toys, and stomps his feet, and then accosts Megasaucer with loud squeals of victorious delight.

Zach hasn't been able to roll himself over yet. His cute, pudgy belly seems to be getting in the way. But we are seeing progress--those legs are starting to push off of the ground with a lot of force, I don't think it will be long.

Also, a big thank you to Baby Orajel for the middle of the night assists in calming Z's incessant wailing. Little dude is definitely going to be sprouting some teeth soon, which is probably bad news for his momma. (he already gnaws on me like I'm a teething ring, I imagine it will only get worse!)
