Black cats are good luck on Halloween, right? Zachary liked playing with Salem (and Nana!), any day of the year!

Zach-a-Monster!
Maybe next year Z will be ready for some real trick-or-treating, this year he was happy to see all the trick-or-treaters come and visit Nana and Poppa's house. He also enjoyed stomping around the yard in his Monster/Dragon costume, and eating a blue lollipop!
Also, kudos to the awesome pumpkin carver, Auntie Lizzie!
Hope you had a great Halloween! (Sorry my blogging is so far behind!!)

Bonus Pictures
You should always make sure you leave your camera unattended long enough to find bonus pictures when you upload the pictures to your computer. Love you Auntie Lizzie!

That's How We Roll
Zachary, there are so many valuable lessons your family will teach you as you grow up. How to have a good time is top of the list for sure! No little boy should miss out on the opportunity to roll around in the grass and leaves. All the better if it starts at the top of the hill, and ends up at the bottom. Auntie Lizzie even gave you a fine example of Perfect Hill Rolling Technique, and Uncle Robert took you for a tandem roll. Your first roll didn't lack enthusiasm, but didn't have much roll. We'd have to call it more of a low crawl down the hill. But after some help from your Aunt and Uncle, you were a rolling pro!

Hand Off
Not sure what happened, but the walk started with Poppa and Z, and ended with Z and Uncle Robert. That's what it takes to keep up with this little speed-demon!
They Went Thataway
Zachary happily went along with Poppa for a walk around the neighborhood. It was nice to be outside, enjoying some of those last warm days. Won't be too many more pictures of Z wearing shorts!

Hide and Be Happy!!
Somehow Z always manages to convince someone to play Where are you? with him. He loves to have two people to play with. One to hide with him (both you and Z will inevitably be in giggles the whole time) and one person to "discover" your hiding place. Of course, with all the giggling, it's not too hard. Plus, if you ask Z, "are you under the insert hiding place here," he answers yes or no!
He has also recently started telling everyone, "Happy Birthday!" Of course it sounds more like this, "hoppoo burrrday!" We'll get to try it out on Auntie Kitty today, as it is actually her 18th birthday! Hope you have a wonderful birthday Auntie Kitty! Love you!
