My Z and E know how to rock the appropriate Christmas attire! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the "early" Christmas presents, so they could greet Christmas morning in style. 

I love being able to dress my kids, I know I am running out of time before they start exerting their opinions and their style rules. Zachary already has firm opinions on what he should be wearing. Today we went to the aquarium, and since we didn't have any "sea creature clothes", he insisted on wearing something blue. And then covering it up with his jacket, so "the aquarium people couldn't see it." He also has rules about "nighttime and daytime shirts." Love this kid...

It' seems Elara's tastebuds have finally caught up with her appetite. She's enjoying a fruit in the morning, and a veggie in the evening. And not only is she eagerly devouring it, it's staying down. She just had her 6 month checkup at the pediatrician's office, and is growing nicely: 17 pounds 9 ounces, 26 1/4 inches long. (75th-90th percentile!)

Cookies are an integral part of Christmas, and Uncle Robert surprised Z with an early Christmas present--cookie cutters shaped like ninjas. Too cool!

Coming home is like nothing else. It's warm snuggles and cuddles. It's friends and family and a full belly. I only wish we could come home more often.

With the George family you don't have to look far for a reason to celebrate. Kristen's birthday is December 28th, so at the George family Christmas party, we had an impromptu cake and singing session to help her celebrate. Happy Birthday Kristen!

Zachary had a lot of fun shopping for a Christmas present for Elara, and we went through several options before he finally settled on a cute little cow toy. It has a rattle, and a little vibrating pull tab, and Elara absolutely loves it. And Z loves that she loves it, which is even better. The rest of the pictures are from me playing around with my new toy--the camera lens Paul got me for Christmas...love!
