As always, the Vendittos host an awesome 4th of July party, and we all looked awesome in our Red, White and Blue. Barrett's onesie proclaimed United States of Adorable, and it was great. He promptly outgrew it. We weren't sure if we would make it to the party, since my duedate was actually AFTER the Fourth. But, as you know, we'd been hanging out at home with a newborn for a few weeks already by the time the 4th rolled around. We even stayed for the fireworks. Of course Barrett and Elara fell asleep...

Humor Me
I'm a photographer, I can't help but take pictures of my newest little guy. I haven't even had time to edit most of these. Maybe someday, when my arms are less full and my nights less eventful. But I know you don't care. You just want to see baby. Of course, if you saw him now you'd be amazed by how much fatter BBear is. But we'll get there eventually, I promise.

Before You Go
Uncle Robert and Uncle Ben were seriously excited to have Zachary come visit them over the summer, and paid for him to fly home with Nonna. I wasn't sure how I felt about him leaving for a couple weeks, but I knew he was going to have SO MUCH FUN. But before he left, I wanted one more chance to take pictures of him with his new little brother. Preferably before his little brother wasn't so little anymore! We also asked Nonna to take a quick picture of our family of five, and we of course snapped a couple last pictures of her with Barrett. Their feet are all so tiny--but next to Bear they are gigantic!
Overloving Sister
Elara is madly in love with her baby brother. She was here at 12 days old, and the force of her affection and love has only grown. Sometimes that's good, and sometimes Barrett is a little over-loved, ha! I love her sweet, high pitched voice when she is talking to him in this video!

Zachary's Zen
Zachary told me he wanted to show me his moves, and asked me to get pictures of them. This is some combination of yoga and karate moves. Maybe this is a new fitness craze we should start. Yogarate. I think I have the perfect teacher in mind...
get out
Pretty toes, warm sunshine, plenty of toys and lots of happy. Zachary was making a set up with his superheroes, and Elara was working on the dinosaur setup. I sat outside and soaked up some baby bear cuddles, and the sunshine. When the novelty of the cool crisp autumn weather and pumpkin spice everything wears off, and the cold winter starts to wear on us all, these are the warm moments I'm going to be looking forward to enjoying again.
