Christmas Eve happened a little early this year in Iowa, and for the first time, Z was able to unwrap some of the presents himself. He tore the tiniest piece of wrapping paper off, and then insisted on handing it to someone. Then he tore off another teeny tiny scrap of wrapping paper, and handed it to someone. It took forever to open all of his presents, but it was fun watching his delight at opening everything. It might have been the day after Thanksgiving, but it felt like Christmas. Everyone sitting in Mame's living room, with a belly full of rye bread and rice cooked in milk, enjoying the tree and opening presents.
We love and miss all of our family in the QC, and hope you have a wonderful Christmas!!
Love and Kisses!!
