Zachary put a trip to Butterworth Parkway on his To-Do list, but unfortunately the Mississippi had something to say about that. The river overflowed its' banks, and flooded out the parkway (along with a lot of other things!) We thought we'd show Zachary why we couldn't take him to the park, make an adventure of it, and snap a couple pictures of the flooding, because I can't help myself. Elara was only pretending to be asleep---but Zachary really did sleep through most of our scenic drive. I had to show him the pictures of the flooding when we got back home--he missed it all while he snoozed!
