Mariners Lane Fun Festival

Northeast Academy was having a winter festival, and it looked like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the festival ran past the littles' bed time, and it was a really cold night, so this Momma was looking to get around having to go outside! Zachary was pretty disappointed that we weren't going to make it, so I decided to throw our very own winter festival. He told me all the cool things they'd hyped to the students, there were going to be games, and face painting, and a dance party. Our version of the festival had hopscotch (masking tape on the floor!), bowling, facepainting, music for our dance party, and lots of "carnival foods." The kids voted on what would be a fun dinner, and we ate chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, peas, cheese and salami, a juicebox, and for dessert--chocolate pudding! It was an absolute blast, and Zachary didn't mind any more that we weren't able to make it to the school that night.
