Sometimes coming back from the bus stop you spot something strange. It looked like some kind of prehistoric creature had crawled out of the muck to chill in my front yard. Nope, just a Spotted Salamander! I may or may not have called the Animal Control office to find out how to handle this...creature. I was worried because it was still so, so cold out at night. I think they pretty much wrote me off as a crazy lady. I'm used to it.
