I'm pretty sure the annual membership to the Mystic Seaport would be worth it for the Pirate Days alone. My kids love the chance to talk like a pirate, go on a treasure hunt, and take the name Swabby McScurvy and Sharkeye. This year was even more fun, because the kids were able to help with the treasure hunt clues more, and I wasn't eleventy months pregnant with Bear. He was less thrilled to be on the treasure hunt--but he very much enjoyed the picnic lunch we had!
