Drink The Lemonade

Elara learned a new word at my birthday party, cupcake! She spent much of the day eating a cupcake. Actually, it was lots of cupcakes. The list of accomplices is long, and I won't name names, but you know who you are! She was sugared up and happy as can be.

Zachary spent most of the day telling all the guests that they HAD to try the lemonade, because it was so amazingly delicious. He would even lead them over to the drink dispenser, and tell them where the cups were. Thank you country time, you make my son very happy.

Personally, I loved being the center of attention, and the chocolate cake. I could eat that cake every day. Age is just a number, and I make my age look good. So long as I don't actually eat the cake every day.

What an amazing turnout for my 2nd annual 29th birthday! I am so lucky to have friends and family who will help me celebrate, and humor me as I avoid turning 30 for the rest of my life. ;)

strangely normal

I think all kids are a little strange, mine are not unique in that. But they are unique, and strange, and hilariously funny. And I'm proud they are mine. :) Even if they are a little weird.

SelfE and ZShots

I love that my kids already have an appreciation for photography, or at least playing with cameras.

Elara's selfies are especially adorable. At first I thought she was holding her camera backwards, then it dawned on me as she grinned and said cheese, she was holding it exactly the way she wanted to.

Zachary still loves to take off with my camera, which is both wonderful and terrifying. I adore my camera, but I love Zachary way more, so I let him use it sometimes. Plus, then I get to see the world from his point of view, which is definitely worth it.

more snow

Yes, even more snow pictures. Luckily this time Daddy was there to help shovel, and take a turn playing with the bubs outside! I was thrilled to stay inside and keep warm. I just stuck the lens of my camera out the door long enough to capture Z's excitement on the sled.
