He's SO CLOSE!! I keep expecting to turn around and catch Z crawling towards me. He is up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth all the time, and I get the idea that the wheel's in his head are starting to turn. But in the meantime, he's perfecting his RollCrawl (rolling to anywhere he wants to go, and then shimmying around on his belly until he's facing the direction he wants!)
