T is for Tractor

The FarmABC book Grandma gave Z has become one of his absolute favorite toys. He will roll across the floor, bringing the book with him, and he gives his complete attention when you read it to him. You can mark his development with the book too. When we first started reading it, he would occasionally look at the book itself, but mostly he watched you reading it to him. Then, he started looking at the pictures. Now he helps turn the page, and will lean over to look at the next page as you are trying to turn it. He has also started playing with some of the interactive elements of the book, he pets the fuzzy owl, and turns the tractor wheel. And the most fun of all, a few mornings ago, I read the book to him, and then he took the book into his own lap, and in his own language (complete with inflection and intense emotion), he read the book to me! I had to help turn the pages, but he read from every single one!
