quiet moments

My kids are rarely quiet. There is always something to announce, something to act out, something to cry about or laugh about. But every so often their attention is grabbed, and they happily, and silently participate in the activity. For Elara, this is usually short lived, although coloring will keep her attention the longest, followed closely by Super Why. Zachary can sometimes last through most of a Busy Town Mystery show, or a Scooby Doo, but even books are usually peppered with questions and commentary. Quiet is relative, I suppose.
