Sometimes family from Colorado and family from Connecticut are all visiting family in Iowa...at the same time. Then we have a party (or in this case, a picnic at west lake)! We hadn't seen John and Ashlee since their wedding several years ago. They had never met Elara and Zachary, and we hadn't met their awesome little guy Owen. We had a great time visiting, playing on the swing set, and catching up. Let's try to coordinate the next visit for before Z can drive!
