What a great way to spend a day! We went to the Family Museum in Bettendorf, and thanks to Robert, we all got in for free. :) There was SO much to do, I know we didn't get to all of it before the kids (and the adults!) were worn out and needed to go home and nap. The museum seems to heavily encourage role playing for the kids, with an ice cream stand, pizza parlor, vet office, shoe store, farm, grocery store, and lots of other places. Zachary really enjoyed picking fruits and vegetables on the farm, and the room of instruments was a hit for all of us. I think my favorite part was showing Zachary how to answer a wall phone--he kept asking what button he needed to push to answer a call from Amanda in the vet's office!
