Port of Call

If the trip looks like it starts over again in the middle, that's because I have pictures from both my camera and Nonna's camera. We've lived in Mystic for almost three years now, and in all that time, we hadn't visited the Mystic Seaport. I think we were so busy enjoying the aquarium and Olde Mystick Village, that we just never made our way over. Turns out we were missing out a pretty fun time! They have great old ships for you to climb on, and a 19th century sea faring village for you to wander through. There is also a great little children's museum, which was the icing on the cake for us. Elara and Zachary took turns captaining a boat, and cooking in the kitchen. We loved it so much--we converted our tickets over to an annual membership. We've been back a couple times, and Elara has enjoyed it just as much as the first time!
