Art Festible

We were crossing our fingers, hoping Zachary would enjoy looking at the paintings and sculptures at the art festival. As it turns out, we needn't have worried. Z was a huge fan! It was wicked hot that day though, and even a "Refreshing and cold thing, like Lemon-ade" from Dels (Z's words, not mine!) wasn't enough to keep us from practically melting. The uphill climb back to our far-off parking spot was brutal, but the Mystic Art Festival really was an enjoyable time. We saw lots of pretty artwork with Auntie Christine, Uncle JonJon, Amanda and Uncle Robert, and even met up with Grandma Ann and Linwood while we were there. The festival definitely made an impression, because Z still occasionally asks if we can go to an "Art Festible" today, and when we mentioned that there was a little art festival at Olde Mystic Village while Auntie Lizzie was visiting, he insisted we go there first. Can't wait to keep going to more festivals with my little art lover!
